Kyle W. Sundblad, D.P.M., D.A.B.P.S., F.A.C.F.A.S., F.A.P.W.C.A., F.A.S.P.S.
Dr. Sundblad joined Macomb Foot, Ankle and Wound Care in August of 2003. He attended Michigan State University where he graduated with Cum Laude Honors. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2001 from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a two-year residency program in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Kern Hospital and Medical Center in Warren, Michigan in 2003. During his residency he received special training in diabetic foot care, limb salvage and diabetic wound care.
Dr. Sundblad is board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, The American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and The American Professional Wound Care Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. He is a board representative of the Southeast Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Sundblad is an active staff member at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, St. John Macomb/Oakland Hospitals, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and Michigan Surgical Hospital where he also holds position as Chief of the Podiatry Section. He is the Residency Director and Director of Podiatric Medical Education of the three-year surgical training program for the Kern Residency at Michigan Surgical Hospital. He has been appointed to the Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He has been appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Podiatric Surgery and Applied Biomechanics at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
Matthew D. Andrews, D.P.M.
Dr. Andrews joined the staff at Macomb Foot, Ankle & Wound Care in July 2014, after completing a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with training in Rearfoot Reconstruction and Ankle Surgery at Michigan Surgical Hospital/Kern in Warren, MI. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 2002, earning degrees in Mathematics and Biochemistry. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University, North Chicago, IL. He has considerable experience and advanced training in treatment of diabetic foot and ankle conditions, deformity correction, trauma, sports medicine and joint replacement in the foot and ankle.
Dr. Andrews is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, The American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and is a Life Time Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Dr. Andrews is the Assistant Director of Podiatric Medical Education at Michigan Surgical Hospital/Kern residency training program, working alongside Dr. Sundblad in teaching surgical residents.
Dr. Andrews is a former Army Officer who served overseas in Kuwait and Iraq from 2003-04. In addition to teaching and practice, he gives several lectures and seminars at major scientific conferences, focusing on reconstructive surgery and wound care.
