Walter B. Coleman, D.P.M., D.A.B.P.S., F.A.C.F.A.S received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1966. Following graduation he served a foot and ankle surgical residency at Civic General Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He holds podiatric licenses in the states of Michigan, Ohio and Florida, as well as being Diplomat of the National Board of Podiatric Examiners.
Dr. Coleman's teaching appointments have included Civic General Hospital, Detroit, Michigan and Saint John North Shore Hospital, Harrison Township, Michigan. He also served as Director of the Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Brent General Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He is an active staff member at St. John Macomb, St. John Oakland, St. John North Shore, Mt. Clements General, Sinai-Grace, and the Detroit Orthopedic Center Hospitals. In the past Dr. Coleman has served as Chairman of the Department Of Podiatric Medicine at St. John North Shore Hospital and has served as Chief of Podiatry Section at Sinai Hospital of Detroit.
Dr. Coleman holds numerous professional awards,
maintains several professional memberships, serves on numerous professional
appointment boards, holds several professional offices, and has authored several
podiatric publications. He is cited in textbooks of podiatric surgery. He serves
as second surgical opinion surgeon with many insurance companies and professional
organizations.
Kyle W. Sundblad, D.P.M., D.A.B.P.S., F.A.C.F.A.S joined the Macomb Foot, Ankle
and Wound Care Center in August of 2003. He attended Michigan State University where he graduated with Cum Laude
Honors. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2001 from
the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a two-year residency
program in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Kern Hospital and Medical
Center in Warren, Michigan in 2003. During his residency he received special
training in diabetic foot care, limb salvage and diabetic wound care.
Dr. Sundblad is board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery, The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and The American Professional Wound Care Association. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Sundblad is actively involved in the community through lectures and foot screenings. Dr. Sundblad is an active staff member at St. John Macomb Hospital, St. John North Shores Hospital, Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center and Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital where he also holds a position as a clinical instructor.
